OUR HUGE THANKS

To the following individuals and organisations for their contribution towards George Street Studios.

Do you have a bit of time, or some materials to donate? We'd love to hear from you...

Farrow & Ball

George Street Studios received a huge palette of paint from Farrow & Ball, to help bring our space to life. Their extraordinary generosity means we can create a truly attractive venue that our residents can be proud of. Thank you F&B. Keep an eye on our instagram blog for video and images of developments.

James Blissett, Fotini

We are hugely grateful to James from Fotini (Peer Health & Leisure Ltd) for the electrical inspection, works, and certification of our supply at George St. And also for the laughs and sticking it out despite the lack of heating.

Skanska, SRW Engineering

When we placed an ad for volunteers on
Do-It.org to help paint and decorate George Street Studios, the staff at Skanska SRW Engineering, working at the local Paddington Crossrail project, came to our aid. Over the course of a week, twelve volunteers helped paint and decorate our third floor, in time for the last intake of residents from May 1st. Thanks, Skanska.

Store Manager Mohamed and Youssef from ToppsTiles St John's Wood branch arranged a donation to us of several boxes of Hexagon tiles, to help transform our popup low-cost workspace into an attractive venue. Huge thanks, ToppsTiles.

Travis Perkins, Paddington

Huge thanks to Lee and the team at Travis Perkins Paddington Branch, for their kind donation of all the plasterboard we could possibly use. And they even delivered.

Joe Iredale

Joe is a veteran meanwhile use building all-rounder, and our resident go-to-guy for issues. So far he has fixed leaking taps, leaking toilets, leaking walls, and Dan's shoddy plastering effort. Thanks, Joe.

Cathie Yeats

Cathie joined us in March as our part-time Operations Assistant, helping with the day-to-day running of Interim Spaces and its venues. She's also a dab hand at painting and decorating, and is responsible for the gorgeously chalked user directory on the ground floor.

Thanks for the painting and decorating...
